Heidi's dad was a former producer at the 4711 fragrance business. Her birthplace Bergisch Gladbach, a small city with about 100,000 people just six miles from Cologne was where she grew up. The former fashion model from Germany who works as a TV host as well as producer and fashion designer. Heidi Klum, 2019 Heidi Klum is a guest at this year's iHeartRadio Awards held at Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles California on March 14th, 2019. Klum was first introduced to modeling while she worked as a barmaid at a Dusseldorf nightclub in the year 1992. An acquaintance (Karin) was encouraging the an 18-year-old to take part in the German TV show called Model 92. Model 92, a show presented by German women's magazine Petra included an evening talk show hosted by Thomas Gottschalk.
